What fun there is to be had for Families once they dropped the hassle of daily living and headed out for Fishing at Country Cove Village in S.E. Ohio.

This truly is a Family experience that makes Life time memories.

The owner is Pastor Brady C. Harness and he loves Family and children. His fishing parks motto is: “Get Kids Hooked on Fishing, not Drugs”.

To make it more Family fun and safe there are a few simple rules:

1. No cussing 2. No Alcoholic Beverages 3. No Pets

Never been fresh water fishing, but think it would be a positive bonding experience? Well you are absolutely correct, for the excitement the kids will experience and the joy you as parents will feel can not be easily beat.

Pastor Brady will help you learn to bait a hook and teach you how to cast the line out and he even has rental poles. Their Bait and Tackle Shop is a fun little place to buy what ever you might need for the day and that even means his new book of poetry: Wishful Tinkering From My Front Porch which the Ladies really enjoy while Dad and the kids are busy fishing.

The Family Park has three large farm ponds all Artisan Spring fed and they are well stocked on a “Catch and Release” basis. In the ponds you will catch: Hybrid Striped Bass, Large Mouth Bass, Channel Catfish, White Crappie and Blue Gill.

They are open from April to ther middle of Oct. every year from 8:am to 8:pm, except of course on Subdays it’s 2:pm to 8:pm.

So you aught to drive on over and experience the wonderful excitement of fishing as a Family.
